Email Campaign Message Performance by Domain Report

The Message Performance by Domain Report compares statistics for each email message sent within an email campaign
by domain.
Using the Message Performance by Domain Report
Use the Message Performance by Domain Report to show the number of email messages that:
- Were sent to constituents
- Were successfully delivered to constituents
- Were opened by constituents
- Constituents used the links in to click through to reach the target purpose of the email
- Constituents took action on
- Constituents clicked unsubscribed to remove themselves from the email list
Running the Message Performance by Domain Report
To run the Message Performance by Domain Report:
- Click Email
> Email Campaigns.
- Click Email Campaigns in the drop-down list.
- Click the Campaigns tab in the Email Home page.
- Click the campaign name in the Email Home List table.
- Click the Reports tab.
- On the Reports page, click Message Performance Report by Domain.
- On the Select Messages page:
- From All Selections, click the message name and click the Add button to move the message to the Your Selections box.
Tip: To compare all of the campaign messages, click the Add All button and then click the Next button.
- Click the next message name and click the Add button again.
- Continue until you have selected all of the messages you want to compare.
- Click the Next button.
- On the Submit report page:
- Review the details of the report.
- For the report label, type a descriptive name to help distinguish this Message Performance Report by Domain from other reports on the Reports page.
- Click the Submit Report button. The system will display the Reports page with Queued as the report Status.
- On the Reports page, click
Refresh this page and wait until the system changes the Status to
Completed. (You may need to refresh more than one time.)
Viewing the Message Performance by Domain Report
The Message Performance by Domain Report displays with the report label across the top along with the timestamp that shows when the report was run. If you have not entered a label, the system uses the report name (that is, Message Performance
by Domain Report).
On the Message Performance by Domain Report page, you can click the First, Previous, Next, and Last links to move between multiple pages of the report.

Email Domain
|
Label entered when the email was created to identify the domain

Sent Count
|
Number of messages sent to constituents
|
Delivered Count
|
Number of messages that were successfully delivered to constituents. Also displays the percentage of the total sent that this number represents

Open Count
|
Count of the delivered email messages that recipients opened
|
Clickthrough Count
|
Number of times the recipient clicked the link to reach the target purpose of the email (such as a fundraiser). Also displays the percentage of the total sent that this number represents

Clickthrough Rate (%)
|
Percentage of recipients who clicked any link in the email message
|
Actions Taken Count
|
Number of actions taken by the recipients of the message. Also displays the percentage of the total sent that this number represents.
|
Unsubscribe Count
|
Number of recipients who have unsubscribed to remove themselves from the email list. Also displays the percentage of the total sent that this number represents
|
Unsubscribe Rate (%)
|
Percentage of recipients who clicked the Unsubscribe link in the email message

Spam Complaint Count
|
The number of emails flagged as spam by the recipient

Spam Complaint Rate (%)
|
Total number of messages sent divided by the number of spam complaints
