Fundraising Dashboard Report

The Fundraising Dashboard Report provides summary information about the Fundraising activities of your organization.  You can use this report to provide summary information for all Campaigns/Donation Forms.  You can also use the report to provide summary information for individual Online Giving Campaigns or Donation Classic Forms.  Both types of reports will differentiate the funds that were received through a TeamRaiser Event or Tributes Campaign from the funds that were given directly to a Donation Form.  Offline gifts are also differentiated from online gifts.


Use the Fundraising Dashboard Report to show:

u       Total funds received from all Fundraising activities for all dates

u       Total funds received from all Fundraising activities for a specific period of time

u       Total funds received from a specific Donation Classic Form or Online Giving Campaign for all dates

u       Total funds received from a specific Donation Classic Form or Online Giving Campaign for a specific period of time

u       Summary statistics for Tributes, Joint Gifts, Anonymous Donors, Company Matched Gifts, and First-Time Gifts

u       Online vs. Offline percentages and summary statistics

u       TeamRaiser and Tributes summary statistics

u       Sustaining Gift summary statistics

 

Run the Fundraising Dashboard Report as follows:

1.       Click Data Management on the top-level navigation bar and then select Reports from the drop-down list to open the Report Selection screen.

2.       Click the plus sign (+) beside the Fundraising Reports folder to display the contents of the folder.

3.       Click the link for the Fundraising Dashboard report.

4.       On the Report Configuration screen that opens, select the Campaign/Donation Form on which to base the report. Your choices include:

u       All Campaigns/Donation Forms

u       Specific Online Giving Campaigns or Donation Classic Forms that you select from the list supplied

5.       Select a Report Date Range.  Your choices include:

u       Predefined Date Range (such as All Dates, This Calendar Year, etc.)

u       Custom Date Range (choose exact dates from the date menus provided)

6.       Provide an optional Label for the Report.

7.       Click Submit Report.  On the Report Results Page that opens, you can view the results.

8.       Click the Add to My Reports link, provide a brief Description, and click Save if you would like to add this report -- with this configuration -- to the My Reports folder.

Tip: You might want to add several different configurations of this report to the My Reports folder for quick access in the future.  For example, you might add versions that provide monthly statistics on each of your major fundraisers and other versions that report on all fundraising activities monthly and/or for all dates.

 

View the Results of the Fundraising Dashboard Report:

Note: The fields on each report will vary slightly depending on the options you have chosen and whether or not any of your funds were raised through a TeamRaiser Event.

Field

Description

Report Date

Indicates the date the report was run.

Campaign

Indicates either a specific Donation Form or the fact that this is a report on All Donation Forms

Date Range

Indicates the dates covered by the report

Campaign Description

For specific Donation Form reports only: includes Start Date, End Date, Length of Campaign, Type of Campaign, Merchant Account, Campaign Goal, Funds Raised to Date, and Percent of Goal achieved

Funds Raised

Includes: Total Funds Raised, Total Raised Online, Total Raised Offline, Percent Raised Online, Percent Raised Offline

Online Gift Summary

Includes: Number of Tributes, Number of Joint Gifts, Number of Anonymous Donors, Number of Company Matched Gifts, Number of First-Time Gifts

Offline Donation Summary

For Donation Form reports where all or part of the funds have been raised through offline donations

Includes:

u       Number of Offline Donations

u       Average Donation Amount

u       Total Amount Donated Offline

TeamRaiser Summary

For Donation Form reports where all or part of the funds have been raised through a TeamRaiser Event -- or for a report on All Donation Forms where some or all of the funds have been raised through a TeamRaiser Event

Includes:

u       Total Raised (from both TeamRaiser Events and direct contributions to Donation Forms) - should match the "Total Funds Raised" at the top of the report

u       Total from TeamRaisers (registrations and donations)

u       Total from Direct Donations

u       Percent from TeamRaisers (registrations and donations)

u       Percent from Direct Donations

Sustaining Gift Summary

For Donation Form reports where all or part of the funds have been raised through sustaining gifts

Includes:

u       Number of New Sustaining Gifts

u       Average Monthly Amount

u       Number of Donations via Sustaining Gifts

u       Total Amount Donated via Sustaining Gifts
