Working with Fundraising Milestones for this TeamRaiser
To help increase fundraising levels among participants in the TeamRaiser and encourage participants to continue to raise funds, you can define different levels of monetary fundraising goals as Milestones and associate picture badges with the Milestones to display on appropriate pages and lists within the TeamRaiser.
The badges can be icons, pictures, or other images that you upload to use in small spaces on the pages. The area for displaying the badge on the Personal Page of your fundraisers is a 48-pixel by 48-pixel area and in lists is a 16-pixel by 16-pixel area next to the participant name. Care should be taken when desigining or choosing these images to be sure they are appropriate for these sizes.
Notes: (1) Only one badge displays at a time for a participant, which means that only the badge awarded with the highest milestone achieved displays and is replaced by the badge awarded when the next milestone is achieved.
(2) If you use image badges, it is important to include a badge with each milestone to avoid confusing participants if a badge disappears without replacement even though the participant has reached the next milestone. For example, if a badge icon displays for the $500 milestone, there should also be badge icon for $501 (and above) otherwise participants who raise at least $501 will not see a badge at all.
To notify the appropriate event administrators or managers of the participants who have reached a milestone, you can schedule a notification that attaches a list of the participants and milestone achieved. The event administrators or managers can then reach out to personally praise the people who reach these Milestones and coach them on raising additional money. You can set the notification to be sent on a daily basis, once a week, or once a month depending on the volume you expect for the TeamRaiser.
You can schedule a notification to be sent to other event managers that notify them about the participants who have reached a milestone and attaches the list of the names of the participants. You can add information to this notification to display with the default content. You can set the notification to be sent on a daily basis, once a week, or once a month depending on the volume you expect for the TeamRaiser.
By default, a special Autoresponder is automatically sent to each participant who reaches a Participant Milestone to offer congratulations on their fundraising efforts and discuss next steps to take to continue raising money. You can add special event-specific text to display below the general default content. Or, if you have a different way to acknowledge this achievement, you can disable the Autoresponder so it is not sent.
If you have the appropriate permissions, you can create, copy, edit, and delete milestones.
