Editing Event Schedule and Location Properties
As the Event Manager, you may the permissions to add and modify information about the event schedule, location, or sponsors. The Event Properties defined here can be placed on a page or email message via the Components drop-down list in the WYSIWYG Editor.
Note: Only the items for which you have permissions will be displayed in the Event Management Center.
To edit the event properties:
- In the Process Navigator on the Event Center page, click Event Properties. The Event Information page displays.
- To define the name of the event that will resolve when Event Title is selected from the Components drop-down list in the WYSIWYG Editor, enter the appropriate information in the Event Name field.
- To define when the event will take place, in the:
- Schedule field, enter the details (such as Saturday Morning, or Saturday 11/11/07, or Thursday - Friday 8 to 8) that will resolve when Event Schedule is selected from the Components drop-down list in the WYSIWYG Editor.
- Date & Time field, enter the appropriate information that will resolve when Event Date/Time is selected from the Components drop-down list in the WYSIWYG Editor. This can be the month, day, and year, or simply a day with a time.
- To define where the event will take place, in the:
- Location field, enter the name or street address of the location that will resolve when Event Location is selected from the Components drop-down list in the WYSIWYG Editor.
- And/Or, State field, enter the appropriate information that will resolve when Event State is selected from the Components drop-down list in the WYSIWYG Editor.
- And/Or, City field, enter the appropriate information that will resolve when Event City is selected from the Components drop-down list in the WYSIWYG Editor.
- In the Map Link field, enter the URL to a file containing a map that participants can view and print.
- In the Sponsor name fields, enter the names of sponsors that that will resolve when an Event Sponsor is selected from the Components drop-down list in the WYSIWYG Editor.
- Click Save and then click Finish. The main Event Center page displays.
