Editing the Attributes of an Existing Upsell
With the appropriate permissions, you can edit an existing Upsell to:
Changing the Name
You can change the Name for an Upsell, which displays as the title label for the Additional Option as it is presented to people who are registering for a TeamRaiser event. This label should be descriptive, but typically also has a short description that follows it.
If a price is set for this Upsell when it is associated with a TeamRaiser event, the price displays next to this name.
To change the Upsell name:
- From the Registration Upsells, list click Edit from the Actions column of the Upsell. The Review Display Options page displays.
- Click into the Name field and make your changes.
- Click Finish. The Registration Upsells list page displays.

Editing the Description
You can add or change the description that displays with the name of the Upsell. Depending on the content of the Upsell, you may want to add instructional information about selecting the Upsell or identify the difference between this and another similar Upsell.
You can supplement your description by providing a More Info link. For more information, refer to Adding or Working with the More Info Link.
To add or change the description written for an Upsell:
- From the Registration Upsells, list click Edit from the Actions column of the Upsell. The Review Display Options page displays.
- Click into the Description field and make your changes.
- Click Finish. The Registration Upsells list page displays.

Working with the More Info Link
If the More Info link is not yet configured, you can add a link to point to an internal Convio Web page or form or to an external source. You can also change target or remove the link completely if the link already exists.
To add a More Info link or work with the existing one:
- From the Registration Upsells, list click Edit from the Actions column of the Upsell. The Review Display Options page displays.
- In the More Info area, to:
- Hide the More Info link if you do not need to display additional information for this option, remove any text that exists in this field.
- Or, link to a Web page or other other target:
- Within the Convio application:
- Click the Select button. The Link Selector Pop-up opens.
- Leave PageBuilder as the Link Target or select a different link target to display the available pages or forms to which you can link.
- Locate the page or form and click Insert. The pop-up closes and the focus returns to the Choose Options page with the path to the file containing additional page displayed in the field.
- External to the Convio application, manually enter the URL in the field provided.
- Click Finish. The Registration Upsells list page displays.

Editing the Price and Fair Market Value
You can edit the monetary amount set as the price for this Upsell or work with the Fair Market Value, which is the portion of the price that the registrant can deduct from their taxes.
To alter the pricing information:
- From the Registration Upsells, list click Edit from the Actions column of the Upsell. The Review Display Options page displays.
- Click into the Price field and enter the price. If you want to remove the price, remove any numbers in this field.
- If you have set a price that exceeds the value of the option, enter the monetary amount that registering participants may claim on their taxes for this item in the Fair Market Value field. If you leave this field blank, the registrant cannot claim this item for tax purposes.
- Click Finish. The Registration Upsells list page displays.

Changing the Inventory Options
You can change the tracking method or update the inventory options if necessary.
To alter the inventory information:
- From the Registration Upsells, list click Edit from the Actions column of the Upsell. The Review Display Options page displays.
- For Inventory:
- Leave the Not Tracking Upsells as Inventory radio button selected if you do not plan to track the number of these items as they are selected or purchased. Note that the actual number of items ordered may display in the Upsell Lists on pages regardless of this setting.
- Or, click the Set Total Inventory Amount Available radio button and then, in the Available Inventory Amount field that displays, enter the number of items available for selection or purchase.
- Or, if this is a select list:
- Click the Set Inventory Amount per Option radio button. The Inventory column in the Available Options table becomes active.
- Enter the appropriate numbers of items available in each row of the Inventory column.
- If you need to charge extra for an option, you can enter the extra price in the appropriate field.
- Click Finish. The Registration Upsells list page displays.

Editing the Checkbox Label
Checkbox Upsells have a label that displays to the right of the checkbox to confirm the content of the option (for example, Yes, I will attend the seminar).
To change the label associated with an Upsell:
- From the Registration Upsells, list click Edit from the Actions column of the Upsell. The Review Display Options page displays.
- Click into the Checkbox/Select List Text field and make your changes.
- Click the Finish button. The Registration Upsells list page displays.

Changing the Checkbox Selected Initially Option
For Checkbox Upsells, you can specify to have the checkbox contain a checkmark when the option displays on a registration form. You can change this to uncheck the checkbox or vice versa.
To display the checkmark in the checkbox for this option on registration forms:
- From the Registration Upsells, list click Edit from the Actions column of the Upsell. The Review Display Options page displays.
- If the Yes, the checkbox is checked by default checkbox does not contain a checkmark, click the checkbox. A checkmark displays in the checkbox.
- Click Finish. The Registration Upsells list page displays.
To leave the checkbox unchecked for this option on registration forms:
- From the Registration Upsells, list click Edit from the Actions column of the Upsell. The Review Display Options page displays.
- If the Yes, the checkbox is checked by default checkbox contains a checkmark, click the checkbox. The checkmark disappears.
- Click Finish. The Registration Upsells list page displays.

Editing the Select List Label
Select List Upsells have a label that displays directly above the list, typically to provide the registrant with instructions about the selection (for example, Select Your T-Shirt Size)
To change the label associated with a select list Upsell:
- From the Registration Upsells, list click Edit from the Actions column of the Upsell. The Review Display Options page displays.
- Click into the Checkbox/Select List Text field and make your changes.
- Click Finish. The Registration Upsells list page displays.

Editing the Option Values in an Upsell Select List
You can edit the Values that display in an Upsell Select List.
To change the option values associated with an Upsell Select List:
- From the Registration Upsells, list click Edit from the Actions column of the Upsell. The Review Display Options page displays.
- In the Available Options area, click into a value field and make your changes.
- Click Finish. The Registration Upsells list page displays.

Changing the Pre-Selected Option
A Select List Upsell can be configured to display with a pre-selected option. You can replace the option originally selected with a different one, choose an option if one was not pre-selected, or decide not to pre-select any option.
To change the option that has been pre-selected for an Upsell:
- From the Registration Upsells, list click Edit from the Actions column of the Upsell. The Review Display Options page displays.
- Click the appropriate option in the Pre-Selected Option drop-down list.
Note: Click -none- to avoid showing one option as selected when this Upsell displays on registration forms. - Click Finish. The Registration Upsells list page displays.

Working with the Interests Associated with this Upsell
You can select from the predefined Web interests to have any available Web content associated with the interest automatically displayed on the Web site to participants who have purchased or selected this Upsell when they log into the site.
You may also select from the predefined Email interests to have participants who purshase or select this Upsell receive emails associated with the interest.
To add or remove interest associations:
- From the Registration Upsells, list click Edit from the Actions column of the Upsell. The Review Display Options page displays.
- From the Process Navigator, click Associate Interests. The Interest Categories page opens.
- Click the applicable checkboxes in the list displayed.
- Click Finish. The Registration Upsells list page displays.
