Adding a Gift from a Company

Company can give money as a direct donation in a corporate check, as registration subsidies to apply toward a portion of the registration fees that participants pay, or to use to match certain amounts given or raised by participants. Some companies may also offer an in-kind gift of services or merchandise. You can record these gifts in the company record.

You can also record a pledge of monetary support from a company or choose the Other option and list its value in the Notes section for a gift.

When you add a gift, the amount is applied to the fundraising thermometer. You can adjust this amount so all or part of it is removed from the thermometer total if appropriate (for example, you may want to remove matching money, registration subsidies, or in-kind values).
