Editing an Existing Coaching Email Message
You can edit the information details, envelope, or content as well as change the stationery of a Coaching
Email message when the message is in the Draft state. You can return the message to the Draft state from the
Message List actions.
Note: After returning a message to Draft, sending it again will send it only to email addresses that were
added since this message was originally sent. To send it to everyone in the target audience, you must copy the message and work with
that copy.
To edit the details, envelope, content, or stationery of the Coaching Email message:
- On the Message List page, click Edit from the Actions column of the message.
Notes:
(a) To display the Messages List page, click Event Emails > Coaching Emails.
(b) To make a message editable, click Return to Draft from the Actions column of the message in the Message List.
-
From the options along the left on the Message Information page, click the task containing the information you want to edit to display the correct page.
- Make changes as needed and click Next to save your changes.
Notes:
(a) For assistance, refer to the sections listed in Building a Coaching Email Message.
(b) If you make changes to the content in the HTML Editor, jot down the changes so you can reproduce them in the
converted Plain Text unless you are making massive changes. Clicking Update Plain Text will overwrite
any changes you made previously to the Plain Text (like fixing spacing and entering introductory text to links).
- On the Approve page:
- Click the Approve button, which displays the Message List so you can schedule the delivery of this message.
- Click Finish, which keeps the message in Draft as displayed in the Message List so you can edit it later if necessary (for example, after you look through your test messages).
