Resending a Coaching Email Message
You can resend the same Coaching Email message to deliver it to audience members who
have been added since the previous delivery. The built-in resend filter automatically
removes the members of the target audience who were included in previous deliveries of
the message. This can be especially useful for welcome and next-step coaching messages
that you would like to send periodically through out event registration to new participants
and Team Captains.
Note: If you want to make delivery option and/or filter changes to
a message that was previously sent without including filter that automatically removes
recipients who have already received the message,
you can use the Send action on the Message List page instead of Resend.
This means that everyone in the target audience will be evaluated and sent the message
whether they were sent the message previously or not.
To resend a Coaching Email message:
- From the Message List page, click the Delivery List tab.
To display the Messages List page, click Event Emails > Coaching Emails.
- On the Delivery List page, click Resend in the Actions column of the message.
- On the Review Message Details page, click Calculate Audience.
- On the Message Details page, verify that the potential audience number is correct. (Note that the Filters area in the Audience Calculation section displays the number of potential targets who are being Filtered Out because they have already received this message.)
- To schedule the resend for a specific date and time instead of immediately, click the Schedule link and set the date and/or time.
- Click Resend to place this message in the message delivery queue.
