Inserting TeamRaiser Personalization Fields into a Web Page or Email

From the Personalization drop-down menu in a Web page or email, you can insert special tagging that resolves with the appropriate content for the person viewing a page or email message.

Understanding the TeamRaiser Personalization Fields

In addition to the First Name and Last Name, you can personalize TeamRaiser content with the following items:

  • Amount Raised to display the total monetary amount of the funds raised by a participant or team.

    Example:
    We are so pleased that you have raised Sample WYSIWYG Personalization Code for our cause. We have some suggestions to help raise this total even higher.
  • Company Name to display the name of the company under which the team was formed.

    Example:
    Thank you for forming a team sponsored by Sample WYSIWYG Personalization Code
  • Days Since Registering to display the number of days since the participant registered.

    Example:
    Just a note to thank you for being with us these past Sample WYSIWYG Personalization Code days and to remind you that now would be a good time to update your Personal Page if you have not already done so.
  • Number of Days Until the Event to let the participant know how many days are left before the event occurs.

    Example:
    It's hard to believe that we will seeing you in just Sample WYSIWYG Personalization Code days!
  • Donation Count to display the number of gifts that were received in support of the participant

    Example:
    Wow ... your hard work has certainly paid off with Sample WYSIWYG Personalization Code donations given to support you.
  • Emails Sent to display the number of emails that a participant has personally sent out.

Inserting a TeamRaiser Personalization Field into a Web Page or Email Message

You can insert a TeamRaiser personalization field in the WYSIWYG of a Web page or email message.

  1. In the open WYSIWYG Editor window, enter the portion of the text to be displayed before or after the inserted personalized field.
  2. Click the appropriate field from the Personalization drop-down and and click the OK button. The tag displays in your content.

Note: If you insert the First Name or Last Name field, the alternative name pop-up displays. Enter a generic word (such as Friend) to display in case the name is not available and click the OK button.
