Recovering Your User Name or Password
If you cannot remember your login credentials, try one of the following recovery methods to avoid creating another user account:
- Request an email containing your user name if you know the email address associated with the account.
- Request an email containing your password hint and a reset password link if you know the user name and email address associated with the account.
Note: Using a single account helps you avoid getting multiple copies of information and helps us maintain a cleaner database and more efficiency for you.
To request an email containing your user name:
- On the User Login page, click Trouble signing in?
- On the User Login page, click Forgot User Name?
- On the User Name Recovery page in the Email box, type the email address you provided when you registered for the account.
- Click Submit.
The system sends you an email message that contains your user name.
- In the email message, click Log in here.
To request an email containing your password hint and a Reset Your Password link:
- On the User Login page, try to log in or click Trouble signing in?
- On the User Login page in the User Name box, type your user name and then click Forgot Password?
- On the Password Recovery page in the User Name box, type your user name.
- In the Email box, type the email address you provided when you registered for the account.
- Click Submit.
If you remember your password, return to the User Login page and log in.
- If the hint does not trigger your memory, click Reset Your Password in the email message and follow the steps to reset your password.
