Changing or Uploading the Photo Featured on Your Fund Page

Adding a photo adds a personal touch to your fund page and can evoke good memories. When you created the fund, you had the opportunity to upload file that contains a digital photograph to feature on your Fund Web Page. You can replace that photo or upload it now if you did not upload one originally, or you can remove it completely.

By default, the photo must be in a .jpg, .png, or .gif file. The valid file types and size limitation is displayed in the field hints on the page.

When you upload a .jpg or .png file, the system automatically resizes it to fit in the designated page space as well as in a thumbnail area. To avoid distortion, the system resizes your photo starting with the largest dimension of the height and width to equal the valid measurement, and then sizes the other dimension in perspective. For example, if your original photo is 8x10, the system will resize the 10-inch height to 6 inches and the width to 4.8 inches. When you upload a .gif file, the system arranges it in the space provided.

Before you upload your image file, you may want to open it in your graphics application and resize or crop it to fit better especially if the photo is quite large.

Notes:
(1) You can also add a caption to the photo when you upload it (or, to add a caption later, refer to Adding a Caption to the Photo Featured on Your Fund Page).

(2) You can display additional photos by creating Photo Albums that contain up to 10 photos each and then providing links to the Photo Albums.

(3) If you are not on your fund page, click the Fund Page Fund icon from the top of any Champion Center page or the link from the bottom of the page. If you are not in the Champion Center, log in to the site, click the link that displays the Personal Fundraising Campaign Funds, and then click the Champion Dashboard or Champion Center link.
