Editing or Adding to Your Story on Your Fund  Page

You can use the three Headline and Text sections to craft a story about the reason you have created this fund. A compelling story attracts and engages more people to support your fund. You can segment the sections of the story with an eye-catching headline. Although you may have entered a story when you created the fund, you can add to it or edit it here.

Note: You cannot enter HTML tags or format your story text. The system accepts plain text format only.

As you write your story, consider the message you want to convey about why you established the fund. This is where visitors will come to read about your cause and courage of your convictions. Make it powerful and sincere. Include facts about the life of any loved ones involved that will compel people to give generously to the fund.

When you have finished, decide which section of the story is most meaningful and place that as the first section. You can add headlines for three sections to help guide readers through your story.

Step 1: Open the Fund Page for Editing

In the Edit Fund Page area, click the Click here to open this page for editing link. Your Fund Web Page sections display in the Edit mode.

Note: If you are not on your fund page, click the Fund Page Fund icon from the top of any Champion Center page or the link from the bottom of the page. If you are not in the Champion Center, log in to the site, click the link that displays the Personal Fundraising Campaign Funds, and then click the Champion Dashboard or Champion Center link.

Step 2: Add Your First Headline

Click into the Headline field and type in a descriptive phrase.

Step 3: Add Your First Story Section

Click into the Text area and enter your paragraph sentences.

Note: You cannot enter HTML tags or format your story text. The system accepts plain text format only.

Step 4: Optionally Add Two More Story Sections

Repeat Steps 2 and 3 in each of the other two sections to segment your story paragraphs with headlines.

Step54: Preview Your Page with the New Story

Click the Go to preview mode button. The editable sections close and your page displays (similar to how it may look in your Web browser).

If you need to make additional changes, repeat Steps 1, 2, and 3 again.

Step 6: Save Your New Story

Click the Save my changes button. The Fund Page saved successfully message displays across the top of the page.
