Viewing or Updating Your Volunteer Profile
Your Volunteer Profile allows you to indicate your preference for
specific events and jobs, to claim specific skills and certifications,
and to communicate your availability to the volunteer event
coordinators at your organization. Use this page to view or
update your Volunteer Profile information.
Event coordinators use this information to help them plan event
schedules and to notify you of upcoming events that may interest
you. They can also view, query, and in some cases update this
information on your behalf.

Accessing the Volunteer Profile Page
To view or update your Volunteer Profile, navigate to the volunteer profile page as described below.
If you are already a registered user:

Log into the web site as described in
Registering and Logging Into this Web Site.

From the navigation items, click the My Account link. The system
displays your Personal Profile page in Preview mode.

Click the Volunteer Profile link. The Volunteer Profile page
opens.
To register (if you are not yet a registered user):

Register with the web site as described in
Registering and Logging Into this Web Site.

From the navigation items, click the My Account link. The system
displays your Personal Profile page in Preview mode.

Click the Volunteer Profile link. The Volunteer Profile page
opens.

Viewing or Updating your Volunteer Profile
The Volunteer Profile page may contain one or more of the following sections,
depending on how the administrator has configured the web site. Indicate which
profile options apply to you by checking the checkbox beside each appropriate
option.
To update your Volunteer Profile:
Preferences/Interests

In the Preferences / Interests section, indicate the volunteer events or jobs that interest you.
Click on the check box beside the names of Events or Jobs
to indicate those that interest you with a check mark.
Note: This section may or may not
appear in your Volunteer Profile, depending upon how the Event coordinator
has configured it.
Skills & Certifications

In the Skills & Certifications section, indicate whether you have any of the listed
skills and/or certifications. These may simply be useful to the
organization, or may be prerequisites to filling certain volunteer
jobs. Click on the check box beside the names of
Skills or Certifications to indicate those that
you have with a check mark.
Note: This section may or may not appear
in your Volunteer Profile, depending upon how the Event coordinator
has configured it.
Availability

In the Availability section, indicate when you are normally available or unavailable to perform volunteer work:
- Under Days, click the box next to the appropriate day names to
indicate which days of the week you are normally available to volunteer.
- Under Times, indicate the times of day during which you are normally available.
- Under Recurrence, indicate how frequently you may be able to volunteer.

Click the Save button to save your changes.
