Using the Gift Service Center

If you are making ongoing recurring or installment payments on a gift, you may be able to access your personalized Gift Service Center to view information about the gift, such as the date on which the first payment was made, the amount of the payments, how many payments have been made, and from which credit card or bank account you are making the payments.

If allowed on this site, you may also be able to make adjustments to the payments to:

Changing Your Billing Information

If the Edit link in the Payment Method area displays, you may be able to modify your name and address as well as switch to a new credit card or bank account to charge for remaining payments.

Step 1. Log In

  1. Click into the User Name field and enter your user name.
  2. Click into the Password field and enter your password.
  3. Click the Login button. The Home Page displays.

Step 2. Display Your Personal Profile Page

Click the My Account link. Your Personal Profile page displays.

Step 3. Display Your Gift Service Center

Click the Service Center link. The Service Center page displays.

Step 4. Request to Modify Your Billing Information

Next to Payment Method, click Edit. A page displays billing information fields such as credit card number and billing address.

Note: If you have more than one gift listed, click the View Details link and then click the Skip Next Payment link.

Step 5. Make Your Changes

Click into any applicable field, make your changes, and click the Update Billing Information button. The system processes your changes, and then displays the Gift Information page in the Service Center page.

Changing the Amount and Date of Your Monthly Payment

If the Edit link in the Payment area displays, you may be able to change the amount and date of your monthly payment.

Step 1. Log In

  1. Click into the User Name field and enter your user name.
  2. Click into the Password field and enter your password.
  3. Click the Login button. The Home Page displays.

Step 2. Display Your Personal Profile Page

Click the My Account link. Your Personal Profile page displays.

Step 3. Display Your Gift Service Center

Click the Service Center link. The Service Center page displays.

Step 4. Request to Modify Your Billing Information

Next to Payment, click Edit. The Payment page displays Amount and Next Payment fields.

Note: If you have more than one gift listed, click the View Details link and then click the Skip Next Payment link.

Step 5. Make Your Changes

Make your changes, and click the Save Changes button. The system processes your changes, and then displays the Gift Information page in the Service Center page.

Skipping Your Next Scheduled Payment

If a Skip Next Payment (or similar wording) link displays, you may be able to skip a scheduled recurring gift payment or an installment payment for a gift in order to keep your credit card or bank account from being charged for the money. If the gift is not associated with a specific end date (such as fiscal book closing or January 1, 2007), the payment may be added to the end of the current schedule of payments.

Step 1. Log In

  1. Click the User Name field and enter your user name.
  2. Click the Password field and enter your password.
  3. Click the Login button. The Home Page displays.

Step 2. Display Your Personal Profile Page

Click the My Account link. Your Personal Profile page displays.

Step 3. Display Your Service Center

Click the Service Center link. The Service Center page displays.

Step 4. Specify the Date of the Next Payment

  • To skip next month's payment, click the Skip Next Payment (or similar) link. The Skip Payment confirmation page displays.
  • To skip more than one month's payment, click the Edit (or similar) link in the Payment area, and select the date of the next payment.

Note: If you have more than one gift listed, click the View Details link and then click the Skip Next Payment link.

Step 5. Confirm Your Skipped Payment Request

Click the Skip button to confirm your request. The system processes the request so that your next scheduled payment will not be collected, and then displays the Gift Information page in the Service Center page.

Discontinuing All Future Payments

If the Discontinue Payments (or similar wording) link displays, you may be able to cancel all remaining scheduled recurring gift or installment payments in order to keep your credit card or bank account from being charged for the money.

Step 1. Log In

  1. Click into the User Name field and enter your user name.
  2. Click into the Password field and enter your password.
  3. Click the Login button. The Home Page displays.

Step 2. Display Your Personal Profile Page

Click the My Account link. Your Personal Profile page displays.

Step 3. Display Your Service Center

Click the Service Center link. The Service Center page displays.

Step 4. Specify to Discontinue All Future Payments on this Gift

Click the Discontinue Payments (or similar) link. The Discontinue Payments  confirmation page displays.

Note: If you have more than one gift listed, click the View Details link and then click the Skip Next Payment link.

Step 5. Confirm Your Request

Click the Discontinue (or similar) button. The system processes the request so that no more payments will be collected, and then displays the Gift Information page in the Service Center page.
