Importing Contacts into Your Address Book from Your AOL Mail Account
You can export your AOL information into a .prn file and then import the First Name, Last Name, and Email Address of each contact into a .prn file that that the Convio Address Book can use to fill in the corresponding information.
Note: The AOL 9.0 Address Book cannot be exported to a .prn file. Contact AOL for instructions on how to create a generic CSV file that you can upload to the Convio Address Book.
Step 1: Display Your AOL Mail Account Address Book
- Log in to your AOL account and click Mail.
- Click More.
- Click Address Book. The Address Book page opens.
Step 2: Create the Contacts .prn File
- Click the addresses you want to export and click the Print button. The Do you wish to print (export) all addresses or selected addresses only pop-up window opens.
- Click All Addresses and then click the OK button. The pop-up closes.
- In the Print window, verify that the default printer is selected and that Type is Generic/Text only.
- Click the OK button. The Print to File window opens.
- Specify the location on your local computer where the system should store this file and click the Save button. (Be sure the file name ends in the .prn extension.) The window closes.
