Searching for Contacts
From the Customer Service area, you can locate participants who registered for the TeamRaiser as well as donors who have made gifts to participants, teams, or events. You can also search for people who are members of any email group associated with a TearmRaiser.

Searching for Participants
You can search for a participant who is registered for an event to:
- View a summary about their TeamRaiser involvement and manage this contact or registration information as well as make the participant inactive, change or remove their team membership, reset their password, or record an offline gift that has been received on their behalf.
- View and work with the email groups in which the participant is a member to remove the participant from a group as well as edit their contact information or change their email opt-in status.
- Search for any gifts they have made to make edits to them (such as fixing a typographical error in the amount entered, making the gift anonymous, or adding a different name to display on gift honor rolls). You can also change the soft-credit for a gift to someone else (or the event) if the gift was credited to the participant by mistake.
If the appropriate options are enabled, you may be able to search for a participant who was registered for the last TeamRaiser as well as the current TeamRaiser.
Although you can search for a participant by entering only part of their first or last name, email address, or their team (if applicable), you should enter as much as you know to narrow the search because the search results will contain only the first 100 participants who match the criteria entered.
To search for a participant:
- Click Customer Service from the top navigation bar. The Your Customer Service Area page displays.
- From the Related Actions area, click Search For Contacts. The Enter Contact Search Criteria page displays.
- Enter all or part of the first name, last name, email address, or team name of the participant and click Next. The Search Results page displays.
- From the search results, click:
- Manage Participant to work with contact or registration information of the participant as well as inactivate, change or remove team membership, reset password, or record an offline gift received for this participant. For details about the tasks you can perform, refer to Managing Participants.
- View Email Groups to remove the participant or modify their email information, including their opt-in/opt-out email status. For details about the tasks you can perform, refer to Managing Email Groups.
- Search Gifts to view or edit a gift that the participant made or change the soft-credit for a gift credited to this participant in error. For details about the tasks you can perform, refer to Managing Participants.

Searching for Donors
You can search for a donor who has given a gift within the current event to:
- Identify that the donor is also a participant of the TeamRaiser and view a summary about their involvement, manage their contact or registration information or record another donation they have made.
- View and work with the email groups in which the donor is a member to remove the donor from a group, edit their contact information, or change their email opt-in status.
- Search for any gifts they have made to make edits to them (such as fixing a typographical error in the amount entered, making the gift anonymous, or adding a different name to display on gift honor rolls). You can also change the soft-credit for a gift to someone else (or the event) if the gift was credited to the wrong participant by mistake.

To search for a donor:

- Enter all or part of the first name, last name, or email address of the donor (most likely, Team Name will not apply).
- Click the Donors option button.
- Click Next. The Search Results page displays.
- From the search results, click:
- Manage Participant to work with contact or registration information of a donor who is also a participant in this TeamRaiser. For details about tasks you can perform, refer to Managing Participants.
- View Email Groups to remove the donor from a a group or modify their email information, including changing their opt-in/opt-out status. For details about the tasks you can perform, refer to Managing Email Groups.
- Search Gifts to view or edit a gift that the donor made or change the soft-credit for a gift credited to the wrong participant by mistake. For details about the tasks you can perform, refer to Managing Participants.
