Viewing the Calendar of Events
You can view scheduled events on our site or choose an area of interest and view those events. Each event is linked to more details. You can actually plan participation and attendance at scheduled events, days, weeks, and months in advance.
If required, you can even purchase tickets for the event and respond to invitations online. You can also send a reminder of a scheduled events to yourself.

Viewing a Scheduled Event
- When in the Calendar, choose the area of interest you wish to view events for using the drop-down menu. Click Choose.
- Using the drop-down menu on the left drill down to a date, (month date and year), then click Go. The page will now show events scheduled for that date in the current view (Day, Week, or Month) and layout (Grid or List).
- In the Events Calendar, select the Day, Week or Month tab for the view you want. Click Grid or List to choose a layout. The page will refresh with a list of events to be held on the chosen date, in the view and layout you chose.
If the scheduled event requires ticket purchase or an RSVP to attend, this will be indicated by the appropriate icon next to the event.

Viewing the Events in a Grid or List
On the Events Calendar, select the Grid or List tab in the Calendar header. This will display events in the format you chose.
Choosing the Grid Format
In the Month View, Grid layout, clicking on the arrow to the left of a week row spanning Sunday through Saturday, will bring up an Events calendar for that week in the Week View. The calendar will show events scheduled every day of the selected week along with the times at which they are scheduled to start, in the Grid format.
In the Week View, clicking on any day of the week in the header will bring up a Day View of events scheduled for that date.
Choosing the List Format
In the Month View, List layout, clicking on a date will bring up the Events calendar for that date in the Day View, List format.
In the Week View, List layout, clicking on a date will display the Events calendar for that date in the Day View, List format.

Displaying Events in the Daily View
- On the Events Calendar Page, choose the Category you wish to view events for using the drop-down menu. Click Choose.This will refresh the calendar with a view of scheduled events in that category. The time span (day, week or month) will be whatever it was before you made the category selection and so will the layout.
- Using the drop-down menu to the left, drill down to a date, (month date and year), then click Go. The page will now show events scheduled for that date in the same view and layout as before.
- In the Events Calendar, select the Day tab to choose the Day view for this date. The page will refresh with a list of events to be held on the chosen date, showing the times at which they are scheduled.
Note: To choose a given view, you do not necessarily have to perform steps in this order. For example, you could select the Day View before you choose a specific date that you want to view scheduled events for.
Viewing Events for Today in a Category You SelectedOn the Events Calendar Page, choose the category you wish to view scheduled events for using the drop-down menu. Click Choose. This will bring up an Events Calendar that shows events scheduled for "Today" in the current view.
If that happens to be the Day View, your calendar will display a list of events scheduled for today's date, showing the times at which each individual event is scheduled. If you are in the Month View, Grid Layout, "Today" will appear as a date or a box in the grid, showing events and times at which they are scheduled. If your current view is the Month View, List Layout<, "Today's" date will appear as a row in the left-hand column with the scheduled events for today displayed alongside the date in the column on the right.
Note: The calendar will always display events scheduled for the current month (All categories) - necessarily including today's date in the month view.

Displaying Events in the Weekly View
- On the Events Calendar Page, choose the Category you wish to view events for using the drop-down menu.
- Click Choose. This will refresh the calendar with a view of scheduled events in that category. The time span (day, week or month) will be whatever it was before you made the category selection and so will the layout.
- Using the drop-down menu to the left, drill down to a date, (month, date and year) that you want to view events for, then click Go. The page will now show events scheduled for that date in the same view (day, week or month) and layout as before.
- To view events scheduled for the chosen date, in the Week View, select the Week tab in the Calendar section. The calendar will refresh with a Week View of events scheduled for the week starting from the chosen date, with the time for each event displayed.
Note: To choose a given view, you do not necessarily have to perform steps in this order. For example, you could select the Week View before you choose a specific date that you want to view scheduled events for.

Displaying Events in the Monthly View
- On the Events Calendar Page, choose the Category you wish to view events for using the Choose Category drop-down menu. Click Choose.
- This will refresh the calendar with a view of scheduled events in that category. The time span (day, week or month) will be whatever it was before you made the category selection and so will the layout.
- Using the drop-down menu to the left, drill down to a date, (month date and year), that you want to view scheduled events for, then click Go. The page will now show events scheduled for that date in the same view (day, week or month) and layout as before.
- To view events scheduled for the chosen date, in the Month view, select the Month tab.
- The page will refresh with a view of events associated with the chosen category, scheduled for the selected month. The start time for each event will appear next to it in the events column, if you are in the List View. If you are in the Grid View, you will see the start time in the box in which the event appears.
- Clicking on any date in a Month View will bring up a List View of events scheduled for that date.
- Clicking on an event will display information about that event.
- Clicking on the arrow to the left of a Week row will display the events scheduled for that week in the Week view. Clicking on any date in the grid will display the calendar of events scheduled for that date, in the Day view which has been discussed earlier.
Note: To choose a given view, you do not necessarily have to perform steps in this order. For example, you could select the Month View before you choose a specific date that you want to view scheduled events for.

Viewing Events for Previous/Next Day, Week, Month or Year
Previous
- Having selected a category that you want to view events for using the drop-down menu, click Choose.
- Use the drop-down Go menu provided, to choose a date you want to view events for.
- Select the Day, Week or Month tab in the header of the Events Calendar page to look at events in the view you want.
- On the Events Calendar Page, click the back (previous) arrow in the header of the calendar, to the left of the day, week, or month, depending on what the current view is.
- This will refresh the calendar with a view of events for the previous day, week, or month, depending on what your current view is
Next
- Click the forward (next)) arrow, to the right of the day, week or month, to view events for the next day, week or month.
- This will refresh the calendar with a view of events for the next day, week, or month, depending on what your current view is.
Viewing Events for the Previous/Next Year
- On the Events Calendar Page, simply select the previous/next year using the drop down Go menu.
- The calendar will refresh with a view of events scheduled for the same month as was previously being viewed, in the previous/next year (depending on whether you chose previous/next).

Displaying Detailing Event Information
Viewing event information is useful in planning attendance at scheduled events, or simply for obtaining information about a prior event. Using the Event Details page you can access the Tickets form for a ticketed event, or the RSVP form, should the event require RSVP. For an Open Attendance event, you can select the checkbox provided to indicate that you do not want your name to appear on a guest list for the event.
- Select Calendar from the navigation bar. Once you have chosen the category and date you want to view events for, click the event that you want more details on. This will display the Event Information Page for the selected event. This page is organized into Event and Reminder sections. View details such as the Name, Location and Description of the event, Start Time, Stop Time and the Date of the event.
- If you wish to have a reminder for a scheduled event to be e-mailed to you, you can use the Reminder section to specify this.
- Select the check-box under Reminder. Using the drop-down menu select a number to specify the number of days before the event that you want the reminder to be sent.
- Click the Save button.
- Once you select Save, you will return to the Events Calendar.
Note: Selecting Cancel without click ing Save, will take you back to the Calendar Main Page. If you have chosen to have a Reminder sent to you, that setting will not be saved unless you click the Save button.

Sending a Reminder about the Event to Yourself
Depending on whether the invitation allows Open Attendance, Ticket Purchase Required, or RSVP Required the appropriate details page for the event will display.
For a Ticketed Event, on the Event Details Page, click the Buy Ticket button to access the Ticket Form Page. Then, at the bottom of the page, select the checkbox to the left and specify the number of days before the event that you want to be reminded using the drop-down menu. Click Save.
For a RSVP-enabled event, on the Event Details Page, click the Buy Ticket button to access the RSVP Form Page. Then, at the bottom of the page, select the checkbox to the left and specify the number of days before the event that you want to be reminded using the drop-down menu. Click Save.
For an Open-Attendance Event, at the bottom of the Event Details Page, select the checkbox to the left and use the drop-down menu to specify the number of days before the event that you want to be reminded. Click Save.

Purchasing a Ticket for an Event Online
If the scheduled event requires ticket purchase, this will be indicated by a ticket icon, alongside the event, on the Calendar and you can purchase a ticket for an event online.
- Click the scheduled event.
- On the Event Details Page that displays, click the Buy Tickets button to access the Tickets Form Page. (You may click the View Guest List link to look at a list of attendees only if the event allows it. Only the names of those who chose to make their names known will be visible).
- In the Request Ticket Purchases here section of the page, you can review the classes of tickets available for the event. Click the ticket class listed under that column for relevant details. Also see: Available (number of tickets available), Order Limit (number of tickets allowed per order), Price (cost of one ticket).
- Enter the Quantity (number of tickets), and Cost (total amount you will pay for the tickets). The cost will be automatically calculated for you.
- In the Totals row, type in the number of tickets you will buy in the Quantity box. The total cost will be automatically calculated for you.
Note: Take a survey (if available) at the bottom of the page. Type your answers in the text boxes provided.

Sending an RSVP for an Event
If event attendance requires RSVP, this will be indicated by an accompanying icon next to the event on the calendar.
- Click the event.
- On the Event Details Page that displays, click the Sign Me Up button to RSVP to the event.
- On the RSVP form, you can view the guest list for the event by clicking on the link provided. Note that the guest list will be accessible only if the event allows it. Only the names of those who chose to include their names in the guest list will be visible. Check the box provided if you do not want your name to be available for viewing on the guest list.
- Next, specify the number of guests including yourself that will attend. Note that if you later decide to bring more or fewer guests to the event, you will again need to specify the total number of guests including yourself that will attend. Each time you access this form, you will have to re-enter the total number of guests. There will be no cumulative count (total) of the number of attendees that you specify each time.
- If a survey is included on the RSVP form, enter the answers to the questions.
- To have a reminder of the event e-mailed to you any number of days before the event, click the checkbox to the left and use the drop-down menu to specify the number of days before the event that you want the reminder to be sent.
- Click the Save button.

Removing Your Name from the Guest List
For a Ticketed Event:
- Click the event in the calendar.
- On the Event Details Page that displays, click the Sign Me UP button.
- On the Ticket Form that displays, select the checkbox at the top of the page if you do not want your name to appear on the guest list.
- Click Save.
For a RSVP enabled Event:
- Click the event in the calendar.
- On the Event Details Page that displays, click the Sign Me Up button.
- On the form that displays, select the checkbox at the top of the page if you do not want your name to appear on the guest list.
- Click Save.
