Working with the Status Indicators and Extra Components that Display on Your Personal Page

Typically, your Personal Page displays two status indicators: the Participant Status Thermometer that shows the amount of money you have raised toward your goal and the Fundraising Honor Roll for the largest gifts that shows the names of the top 20 donors who gave a gift to support you and the amount of that gift (except for those donors who have specified not to be named or show the amount they donated).

Event personnel may have made other status indicators or components available for the Personal Pages of participants in this TeamRaiser event.

In some cases, you can choose to turn the status indicators on or off, or turn options within them on or off.

Step 1. Display Your Personal Page Work Area

After accessing your Participant Center Home page, click either:

  • Personal Page from the options along the top of the page.
  • Or, Work with Personal Page from the navigation links on the right side of the page.

Note: To display your page in a separate browser window to determine the components currently turned on, click Preview from the bottom of the page (or, the Visit Your Personal Page link at the very top of the page).

Step 2: Display the Components Page

Click Components from the options on the right side of the page.

Step 3: Change the Way a Component Displays

To:

  • Turn the component on or off, if the checkbox next to the component name:
  • Contains a checkmark, click the checkbox and click Save. The check mark is removed from the checkbox and the component will not display on your page.
  • Does not contain a checkmark, click the checkbox and click Save. The check mark is added to the checkbox and the component will display on your page.
  • Change a Fundraising Honor Roll so that:
  • Only the donor names display without showing the amounts of the gifts, click the Show donor names only checkbox and click Save. The check mark is added to the checkbox and the component will display on your page.
  • Both the donor names and the amounts of the gifts they gave display, click the Show donor names only checkbox and click Save. The check mark is removed from the checkbox and the component will not display on your page.

Step 4: Preview the Changes to Your Page

Click Preview (near the bottom of the page). A separate browser window opens with your Personal Page displayed.

Step 5: If Necessary, Make Changes

If the image displayed is the wrong one or you want to change it:

  1. Close the Preview page.
  2. Repeat Step 3.
  3. Click Preview again.
  4. Repeat this process as many times as necessary.

Note: If changes to your Personal Page must be approved before your page is available in searches, watch your email for the message from an event administrator that informs you the page has been approved.

If you have made your page private while working on it, you should set it back to Public so it will be available to people who are searching for it.
