Adding a Team Photo to Your Team Page

If you are the team captain, you can add a photo to your Team Page to display with your Team Name and the fundraising status indicators.

You can upload a file that contains a digital photograph. By default, the photo must be a .jpg and is subject to a size limitation. This information will display by the page area in which you will insert the photo.

When you upload a .jpg, the system automatically resizes it to fit in the designated page space as well as in a thumbnail area. To avoid distortion, the system resizes your photo starting with the largest dimension of the height and width to equal the valid measurement, and then sizes the other dimension in perspective. For example, if your original photo is 8x10, the system will resize the 10-inch height to 6 inches and the width to 4.8 inches.

Before you upload your image file, you may want to open it in your graphics application and resize or crop it to fit better especially if the photo is quite large.

In addition, you can insert a caption to display below your photo in this area.

Step 1: Display the Team Progress Page

From the Participant Center page, click:

  • Team Progress from the top navigation bar.
  • Or, the Update Team Information link.

Note: If you are not on the Participant Center page, log in to the site, click the link that displays the fundraising event, and then click the Participant Center link.
