Working with a Story on Your Personal PageYou can write a story about why you are participating in this fundraising event. A compelling story attracts and engages more people to support you. On some sites, you can enter only plain text (that is, no formatting or HTML tags are accepted). These sites have 3 different blocks in which to break up your story. Using eye-catching or appealing headlines for each section may encourage readers to read through the entire story. You can also use the headlines to guide your readers through the story. On other sites, the Rich Text Editor is available for entering your story in one block. This editor has tools for formatting and aligning the text. You can change the font and colors as well as add bullets to important points or center your section titles. Tip: You can compose your story in a text editor (such as Notepad) and then copy and paste it onto your page. Step 1: Display Your Personal Page Click Personal Page from the top of the Participant Center page. Note: If you are not on the Participant Center page, log in to the site, click the link that displays the fundraising event, and then click the Participant Center link. Step 2: Open the Personal Page for Editing Click Click here to open this page for editing (under the third step in the progress bar area by default). The editable sections of the page display. Step 4: Preview Your Page with the New Title Click the Refresh Preview button. A separate browser window opens and displays your new Personal Page. Step 5: Make Changes to the Story
